Secured debt consolidation loans are quite often not in the realm of possibility due to the difficulty to get them to begin with. Plus, you usually need to offer some sort of guarantee such as a house or car to get the consolidated loan. In reality, some sort of debt settlement scenario, or perhaps bankruptcy is the only option for somebody in that predicament. At least with a settlement plan, a debtor will eliminate their credit card debt pretty speedily in contrast to the other programs.
